This was the view out my kitchen window one beautiful sunrise. These Charolais bulls had been laying there for a couple of hours, and to me, they looked so serene. I finally gave in to the temptation to capture it in ink. The challenge here was to capture the scene before they decided there were greener pastures elsewhere, which happened about five minutes into the drawing. And sketching without the forgiveness of an eraser forced the perfectionism right out of me! The black rim and interior match the drawing on the outside of the mug, which means you can pour your cup of joe into an art piece!
